  1. Blue Man Show: running from March 8th to April 30th at Astor Place Theatre by the East Village, the Blue Man group brings their unique blend of music, special effects, and spectacle to their show. Tickets can be bought here.

  2. Flamenco Festival: this innovative dance celebration runs from March 9th through the 12th at the New York City Center. The Flamenco Festival brings together innovative and classic dance into a memorable event.   

  3. Rare Books Faire: if you love literature The Antiquarian Book Fair should not be missed. Running March 9th through the 12th at the Park Avenue Armory this event showcases rare books, manuscripts, and maps from 200 different dealers.

  4. The Imbible: performing at the New World Stages this comedic show not only informs you about the history of cocktails and beverages but also includes three free cocktails to enjoy with the show.

  5. New York International Children’s Film Festival: is a family friendly celebration of films from around the world that focus on youth and childhood. This festival runs from March 11th through the 19th at the NYC Theatres.

  6. The Little Mermaid: running at The Player’s Theatre from March 11th to April 23rd this classic story is based on the book by Hans Christian Andersen and is well beloved by adults and children alike. Arrive an hour early to enjoy a family craft workshop.     

  7. A Decade Of Soul: is a live performance of classic soul era R&B music. Taking place at the B.B. King Blues Club this show runs from March 11th through April 30th.

  8. St. Patrick’s Open Day: is a free event at the Irish Arts Center involving craftwork, dancing, music, and games. Free to enter and family friendly this event happens on March 12th from noon to 4:00 pm.

  9. A Bronx Tale: a classic of the stage A Bronx Tale runs two nights only March 14th and 15th at 7:00 pm. Performing at the Longacre Theatre this show is also co-directed by famous actor Robert De Niro.

  10. Saint Paddy’s PubCrawl: Saint Patrick’s day is well known for its revelry. The Saint Paddy’s PubCrawl takes place on March 17th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and carries across several bars in the East Village.

  11. New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade: billed as the largest Saint Patrick’s Day parade in the world the New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade is a celebration of Irish heritage and culture. It takes place this year on March 17th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Note that no pets or alcoholic beverages are allowed.

  12. The New Yorkers: is a classic musical by Cole Porter. Taking place during the era of Prohibition this story is filled with speakeasies, gangsters, and bootlegging. Running from March 22nd through the 26th this show is being run at the New York City Center.
