We recently saw a list online of NYC's Best New Ice Cream Shops and we were thrilled to see one right across from StuyTown make the list! While Baskin Robbins and Red Mango are great chains we have right within StuyTown, if you walk just a few blocks away there are tons of small mom and pop shoppes that offer real homemade treats.
Owner Mikey Cole got into the ice cream business after discovering a recipe for homemade vanilla ice cream at a beloved aunt's house. His flavors are anything but vanilla though. Known for his crazy concoctions that punch a lot of flavor, his perfect summer ice creams such as "Cool Runnings" and "Pretty in Pink" are full of tropical and fruity tastes.
