The New York Health & Racquet Club is the home of health. The New York Health and Racquet Club empowers people through encouragement, education, and expertise. The New York Health & Racquet Club hopes to become your home away from home. There are a large number of amenities at the Club, including pools, saunas, squash, racquetball, basketball, and over 600 different classes. Club members have access to extra training sessions, guest passes, and entrance into a member rewards program. There are many locations of the New York Health & Racquet Club but the location in Gramercy, just a block north of Gramercy Park Hotel, is ideal for StuyTown residents.

The New York Health & Racquet Club has a cardio program that will get your heart pumping with a high energy workout. The cardio program features a number of different exercises. The Viking Workout is an internal training session that combines strength drills with athletic movement. The Urban Rebounding session features a mini trampoline for high impact fun. The Wind Up session incorporates a hula hoop workout to keep you burning calories. 

There are multiple styles of yoga available for all levels. The New York Health & Racquet Club is the perfect place to learn the different yoga techniques to gain physical and mental rewards. There are a number of different yoga classes available, such as Yin Flow, which combines a balance of postures for strength and balance. You can try Budokon, which is a fusion of martial arts and yoga. Vinyasa Yoga is another option. Vinyasa Yoga focuses on linking breath with strength, form, and movement. 

There are multiple martial arts and boxing classes at The New York Health & Racquet Club. The Boxing Circuit combines training with boxing drills to help you get tougher. The Cardio Kick class combines boxing with strength training, kickboxing drills, and aerobics. You can also learn Tai Chi, an ancient Chinese martial arts system that helps people learn different breathing techniques. 

The New York Health & Racquet Club offers traditional and non traditional Pilates classes that help people gain muscular balance while stretching and strengthening the body. The Metrix combines plyometrics with isometrics alongside Pilates to create a more dynamic flexible body. Pilates turned inside out combines Pilates and dance to help you get stronger. 

The New York Health & Racquet Club offers a personal training program that will help you reach your goals through challenging workouts. The collection of personal trainers will have multiple certifications in exercise science, physiology, and Kinesiology. Your trainer will put together a program specifically designed to suit your needs. 

There are multiple saltwater pools. The club promotes fitness as a great workout that can help boost metabolism, burn calories, and help you get stronger. Swim lessons are available for both adults and children. All children must have a parent or guardian present with them. The club offers competitive leagues in both squash and racquetball. Be sure to also enjoy a game of basketball, as it is a great cardio workout. 

There are weekly trips around Manhattan available if you choose to ride on the yacht. You can catch a glimpse of historic buildings and landmarks. There are private parties available and the yacht does have a food buffet along with coffee service.

You are also invited to sign up for a nutrition counseling program. A dietitian will help you organize a proper nutrition plan to keep you healthy. The New York Health & Racquet Club believes that nutrition is a major part of fitness. All members have the option of attending workshops periodically to learn more about different concepts in  the nutrition industry.
