At Uplift there are five signature group classes, which includes Endurance, Sculpt, Strength, Power, and Uplift Express. The Endurance class is a 55 minute class that focuses on cardio, challenging your endurance, and combining a strength training circuit with plyometrics. The Sculpt class is also a 55 minute class and combines strength training and yoga, bringing you a high intensity class that is low impact. The Strength class is all about working your muscles, utilizing your own body, dumbbells, and resistance bands, while also adding high intensity interval training. The Power class is 45 minutes long and is a high intensity class incorporating explosive movement followed by active recovery. Light props, dumbbells, and resistance bands are utilized during this class. The Uplift Express class combines elements of the Endurance, Sculpt, Strength, and Power classes, and focuses on sculpting, improving endurance, and building strength.
At Uplift, there is also an outdoor class that meets at 6:00 p.m. and is an hour long. This class combines jogging, speedwork, strength training circuits, and plyometrics. This class is perfect for those of you who have some running experience, though pace is not important. There's also a Friday night Happy Hour class, which is ideal for those of you who want to combine fitness with an active social life. Following the class, you'll get a free glass of wine, giving you the perfect opportunity to meet the other women in your class and catch up with your workout friends. Pricing varies based on packages. You can purchase a single class for $34, a 5-pack for $160, a 10-pack for $305, and a 20-pack for $580. There's also the option of purchasing a monthly unlimited pass for just $350.
For those of you who want more personal attention, one-on-one personal training sessions are available. You can also form your very own personal training group of up to four women. A single private personal training session is $115, though packages are available. If you want to save a little bit of money and form a personal training session with a group of friends, the price goes down to $85 per session. There's also package deals available for this option.
Uplift is located at 24 West 23rd Street, Floor 2 in the Flatiron district of New York City. During the week, the first class starts at 6:30 a.m., and Monday through Thursday, the last class starts at 8:30 p.m. On Fridays, the last class, which is the Happy Hour class, starts at 7:30 p.m. Even on the weekends, there's a great selection of classes starting early in the morning and going through the afternoon and early evening. With such a great selection of classes, offered a variety of times, you're sure to find a class that fits your schedule.
