Union Square is famous for its farmer’s market established by Grow NYC, which is held year round on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Union Square’s Holiday Market is held November 23rd through December 24th and features booths selling anything from jewelry, to clothing, to original works of art, and even food.
Union square also provides easy access to a major Subway station which services the 4, 5, 6, L, N, Q, and R trains.
