StuyTown has the 2nd largest amount of green space in Manhattan, second only to Central Park. With its vast greenery and manicured landscaping, StuyTown remains a uniquely green community amongst the concrete spaces in the city. At StuyTown, there is plenty of room to entertain, relax, and play with 15 playgrounds, a seasonal green market and ice rink, and wide array of lush plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers all maintained by our on-site horticulture team. Our iconic “Oval,” with its large open lawn and water fountain, provides a sense of tranquility and calm amidst the surrounding city, and doubles as the location of many of our community events. Take your dog for a walk around the Oval, play basketball or paddle tennis with your friends and family, or simply relax on the lawn in our urban oasis.

EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES

Sometimes the best night out is spent without leaving your community and at StuyTown, that’s possible. From concerts and movies on The Oval to our annual tree lighting and endless Community Center events, StuyTown is always abuzz. Stop by the Oval every Sunday to grab fresh flowers and produce at our Greenmarket or check out Happy Hour at our very own 5 Stuy Café. Residents can enjoy outdoor events year-round, such as movie screenings, concerts, free fitness classes, and much more.

Apartments in NYC are known for being rather small, but at Stuytown, our apartments can range from around 764 to 1,694 square feet. We offer a variety of options, from studios to 5 bedrooms, as well as junior options for those looking to share with roommates or needing a separate office space to work from home. Along with different apartment sizes, we also offer different apartment finishes, such as our Classic, Modern, and Platinum finishes. With our more updated units, we offer in-unit laundry, AC units, stainless-steel appliances (including dishwashers), as well as updated flooring and countertops. Whatever your needs are, there’s a StuyTown apartment for you.

It can be tough to raise a family in a city as busy as NYC, but at StuyTown, families can flourish. With 15 playgrounds, there’s an outdoor space for any and every member of the family. We also have Oval Kids, a premier indoor play area that offers classes, open play, and options for private event and birthday party rental. From Yoga and Ballet to Theatre, Art, Tumbling, and more, there’s endless fun at Oval Kids. Need a camp for the summer? We’ve got you covered with our StuyTown Summer Camp. Plus, at StuyTown, safety is never a concern. Our Public Safety officers are always around to keep us safe, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
